about us

Stray Electrons is a unique assemblage of the best microphone creators in the world — designers and manufacturers of more than 60 industry-changing recording tools stretching back almost fifty years. We’ve built leading brands from the ground up. We’ve invented categories. In fact, we’ve changed the way people look at, use, and value quality recording tools, from musicians and recording engineers to podcasters, streamers, gamers, and beyond.
Today’s microphone market is vastly different than it was just a handful of years ago. In a product category that was once reserved mostly for music professionals and performers, digital content creation has rapidly expanded what users now want — and need —in high-quality recording tools. Daily advancements in social and digital technology are creating new exponential growth areas that interact with almost every person on the planet. The result is now a generation of consumers that expect professional high quality audio for whatever, whenever, and wherever they record.
We have our eyes and ears tuned into designing this next wave of innovative microphone products for professionals and consumers alike. When it comes to technological innovation, cutting edge design, speed of manufacturing, and ease of use, nowhere else will you find a company with the diversity of skills — and knowledge — as Stray Electrons. We know where sound has been, and where it’s going.
